New technology may increase emissions
US greenhouse gas emissions could grow more quickly in the next 50 years than in the previous half-century, and technological change may cause increased emissions rather than control them. That’s according to a new study by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US, and Boston University, US, who looked at the relationships between technology, energy use and carbon dioxide emissions.
