An International Conference on Global change and the World's Mountains will be held at Perth College, Scotland from September 26-30th, 2010.
The conference aims to bring together leading scientists and others working in, and concerned with, mountain areas around the world in order to present, evaluate and synthesise progress in our understanding of global change in mountain regions.
There is currently a call for Abstracts on the following topics:
- Changes in climate along altitudinal transects
- High-elevation climate
- Integrated mountain observing systems
Abstracts are due by March 1, 2010.
