years' experience as a science writer and holds a degree in materials science
from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in materials science and Certificate
in Wildlife Biology, both from the University of Bristol, UK.

is production editor on environmentalresearchweb. Lisa holds a degree in English from the University of the West of England. She joined IOP Publishing in 2002 and is responsible for the production of Physics Education, among other publications.
