Climate Change Post-Kyoto: Insights from BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China)

Jointly organised by the University of Birmingham, UK, and the
University of Glasgow, UK, a one-day conference entitled "Post-Kyoto
Climate Change: Insights from BRIC countries (Brazil, Russian, India,
and China)" will be hosted at the University of Glasgow, UK, on 19
September 2008.

Applications are particularly welcome from postgraduate students and
other interested junior researchers for the following general themes
with an empirical focus on the BRIC countries:

- Environmental governance and the politics of climate change
- Interpreting the climate change debate
- Post-Kyoto?

Deadline for submissions is 8 August 2008. Expenses (travel and
accommodation) will be partly/fully covered depending on the sum.
